I’m off to the west coast of Wales tomorrow,
hoping for some more of their beautiful sunsets.
Back at the weekend.
“May I have the courage, today, to live the life that I would love,
to postpone my dream no longer, but do at last what I came here for,
and waste my heart on fear no more.”

Had I the heavens’ embroidered cloths
En-wrought with golden and silver light
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half-light
I would spread the cloths under your feet
But I, being poor, have only my dreams
I have spread my dreams under your feet
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.
William Butler Yeats
I had an amazing experience paddling in the sea, on an almost deserted beach, with the sun setting over the Lleyn Peninsula. As it set, the almost-full moon rose behind me. I could have stayed there all night. Such awe-inspiring beauty stirring my heart.

Although I love rich, vibrant colours, I wouldn’t usually post a photo which is so obviously overdone, but while playing around in Adobe Lightroom this evening, and taking artistic licence, I suddenly realised that there was a golden cross reflecting back to me!!
“Burning sun, shimmering moon,
Creation in motion.
Sunbeams, warming the land,
Giving light to the earth.
And softer gleams – moonbeams –
Dancing the night away
Beneath a midnight sky.
Shyly retreating as night draws to a close
And the sun yawns on another day.
Regal sun, romantic moon,
In an everlasting love affair.
Destined not to be together –
Until the universe disappears
And they meld back together into the void,
Reunited at last, for an eternity.”
