Walking in nature brings me into the present moment. I have no thoughts of past or future, no worries or anxieties. I slip into a state of mindfulness, fully present in the moment. I become aware of my surroundings. Everything seems bright and beautiful and so alive. I sit on a bench and immerse myself in this awesome place.
I feel the earth beneath my feet and I kneel to observe more closely the profusion of wild flowers growing in the woods. I watch as they lift up their pretty heads to the sun, sighing in sweet ecstasy. I sigh too. Their simple pleasure is contagious.
I have come to love this solitude and communion with nature. My heart sings and my spirit dances with delight. I am alittle child again.
“Keep close to Nature’s heart…
and break clear away, once in a while,
and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods.
Wash your spirit clean.”

Last night I dreamed I met the Earth Mother. She spoke to me from inside a weeping willow tree. [Very symbolic!!] She sounded ancient, weary and sad. When I asked what I could do to help her, she answered: “Please…help my children.” “I will, Mother Earth. I will do whatever I can.”
Changing the world begins on a personal level, with us as individuals. As we begin to live from a higher state of consciousness, to become more aware and awake, we will see the world evolving right along with us. We will be preparing a new earth for our children and grandchildren, and for generations to come.
We must all play our parts in changing the destiny of our world. It will not happen without us. We tend to think that we humans can’t make a difference. But we can!! Because we are not just physical bodies. We have the Spirit, the Power, the Essence of the Great Creator living and breathing through our being. All things are possible to God/The Divine/The Great Spirit. He will ensure that all things are possible to us also. All we need do is believe that it is so. Our faith is a powerful catalyst for change.
Alice: “This is impossible.” Mad Hatter: “Only if you believe it is.”

When I’m sitting among trees, it’s as if I’m in the presence of the Divine. Even more than that, I feel as though I’m sitting WITH God. And it’s as if the trees are speaking truth to my heart. Yesterday, the message for me was:
“Just feed the Spirit within you by meditation, kindness and compassion, on which the Spirit thrives. Then go out and live your life to the full, engaging in heart-led pursuits and passions.”
It was as if my heart leapt within me, as it recognised the voice of its Beloved.
GOD is not complicated, but rather He is pure simplicity. Just look at the trees and see the Divine there. Sit in Silence among them. LISTEN to them. Maybe they will speak to your heart too.
“If what I say resonates with you,
it’s merely because we are both branches of the same tree.”
