Had I the heavens’ embroidered cloths
En-wrought with golden and silver light
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half-light
I would spread the cloths under your feet
But I, being poor, have only my dreams
I have spread my dreams under your feet
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.
William Butler Yeats
I had an amazing experience paddling in the sea, on an almost deserted beach, with the sun setting over the Lleyn Peninsula. As it set, the almost-full moon rose behind me. I could have stayed there all night. Such awe-inspiring beauty stirring my heart.

“Ribbons of light, twinkling and twirling
Glowing in the darkness
Lit with love, spiralling bliss
Awakening my soul from sleep.”

“Look to this day, for it is Life, the very life of Life;
In its brief course lie all the verities and realities of your existence…
the Bliss of Growth, the Glory of Action, the Splendour of Beauty.
For Yesterday is but a Dream,
and Tomorrow only a Vision;
But Today well lived makes Yesterday a Dream of Happiness
and Tomorrow a Vision of Hope.
Look well, therefore, to this day.
Such is the Salutation to the Dawn.”
